Heather Bergida Thurston, PHD

Heather Bergida Thurston, PhD, PLLC is a premier therapeutic practice located in Cary, North Carolina.  Since 2006, I've dedicated my career as a clinical psychologist to helping individuals overcome difficulties with PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, chronic pain/medical conditions, and relationship dynamics.  I have also helped couples achieve greater intimacy, resolve conflict, and improve communication.

My approach thrives on building strong client-therapist relationships and utilizing effective, evidence based treatment modalities. In treatment, I focus on areas most important to my clients, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful change.  I view therapy as a collaborative relationship, encouraging education, questions, and feedback.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to clients in North Carolina. In addition, I provide telehealth to clients in all 42 states that participate in PSYPACT (click here to see if you reside in a PSYPACT state and are eligible for services).
